Ft.Bragg and Ft.McClellan
I recently found that Michael died in Vietnam. We were in the same company at Ft. Bragg and in the same platoon in Ft. McClellan. At McClellan on several weekends Michael,John Lovelace,Jackson and I would rent a motel room in Anniston and have a ball! I even met some of his family when he gave me a ride to the Atlanta airport. He was a very nice guy and I was sad to find out what happened.I also went to Vietnam but I was lucky to make it out ok. I am sure Mike has been sorely missed every day.

Ft. Bragg, NC, May-July, 1969
Mike and I were bunkmates in basic training. He was a nice person and I am proud to have been his friend. Doug Bennet and I were in the same unit In Babenhausen, Germany and it was from him in February, 1970 that I learned about Mike. Even though it has been fifty years,I think of Mike and our short time together at Ft. Bragg. I hope that one day I’ll be able to go to Smyrna and visit the bridge.

Thank You
Dear Sp4 Michael Glenn,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Merry Christmas. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
