REMEMBRANCES

LEFT FOR FRANCIS MICHAEL GIRARDOT
POSTED ON 2.22.2012

If I should die...remembrances for CAPT. Francis Michael GIRARDOT, USA...who died for our country!!!

If I should die, and leave you here awhile, be not like others, sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust, and weep...for MY sake, turn again to life, and smile...Nerving thy heart, and trembling hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine...Complete these dear, unfinished tasks of mine...and I, perchance, may therein comfort you.

My Heart Will Never Forget You

The years go by and life goes on, but there has not been a day that I didn't stop and think of you. I often wonder what our lives would have been like had you survived. Put in a word for us in heaven Mike - I look forward to seeing you again someday! For now, Good Night My Sweet Prince!

We'll never forget

Michael was my best friend through high school. He was smart, strong and committed. He & I had talked about going into business together when he got back. He re-upped after his initial stint was up. I saw him before he went back over to Vietnam and we were all very concerned for his safety. He was a great guy. We will always remember him.
