Thank You
Dear Sp4 Ronald Gilliam,
Thank you for your service as a Special Forces Qualified Radio Operator. Merry Christmas. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

My brother, how I miss you.
To my brother, one that I have always been so very proud of, how I miss you so. So many things in my life would have been different if you were still here. There's not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I still have most of the letters that you wrote while in that horrible war but some were destroyed from Katrina. Even though I was only 12 when you went to Vietnam, I remember it like yesterday. At the airport, saying our goodbyes, the look you gave mom, dad and me said a thousand words, tears in your eyes and in our ours as well, said you would not be coming back home. We prayed so much for you. Such a nasty war. It was the beginning of the end for mom, she loved you so. Dad did too. The good news is you are now in heaven with mom and dad, that makes their life complete. Please continue to be my guardian angel til my day comes to join you. I love you with all my heart.
