Remembering An American Hero
Dear SP4 Kenneth Lee Gill, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

The new FLAG
I know you know that i put a new flag on your grave friday afternoon. About 40 to 50 ft. on a 45 degree angle to the leftand up the hill from you is Ron Craddock. I still say it took 42 year's for nam to get him. when he got back he spent the rest of his time on burial detial out of Pittsburgh. He might have been on your's, he couldn't and didn't want to remembet who or how many escorts he was on. Anyway tell him i miss him also and the new flag on his is how I found you. Make friends if you haven't already. I think of you often.. Mike

Met your little girl
Your daughter Sharon and I just found out we are sisters of sorts...we both lost our daddys when we were 2. Left with no memories, only stories from the ones that knew you. God bless you, Ken, for your and my dad's shared sacrifice...

Not forgotten
Kenneth, Although we never met, I just want you to know you are not forgotten. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for what you believed in. Sleep well my friend, and thank you for protecting our freedoms.
