A Hero Remembered

Lyman,

On Veterans Day, November 11th, 2002 a memorial was placed for you, forever honoring your sacrifice, at the Medford Area Middle School. Nine men, from Taylor County, Wisconsin, gave their lives during the Vietnam War so that we may be free.
Simply inscribed on this memorial is the following,

In Memory of Lyman C. Bach
United States Army
January 22, 1949 - June 2, 1969
"Give Thanks For Those Who Gave Their Lives"
"Welcome Home"

Lyam, You are not forgotten.

Dear Fallen Soldier

Dear Fallen Soldier
I am a senior from Gridley High School located in Gridley Illinois. Our class is making remembrances for the virtual wall for many of the soldiers that died in the Vietnam War. You and many other soldiers paid the supreme sacrifice. You have my greatest thanks for your service, loyalty, and love for this country. Sincerely
Brian Vercler
