Those days in high school.
"The Marines have landed."
Those words were blurted-out of your mouth on one of those early mornings that I dropped you at home and you entered your living room in Billings, Montana, and perhaps startled your folks.We had a wild time when we were 18, so long ago. I see where your mom has joined you now at the cemetery. I'll stop again.

Greg, you were so painfully young
I remember you when you were probably 9 years old. You and I were in Bompa's driveway in Billings and we were washing someone's car (I don't remember whose car). When the news came that you were gone, it was a terrible shock to all of us. You were not quite 20 years old and had not yet even started your life. I'm so sorry. Really not fair.
