Dear PVT Joe Gibson,
Thank you for your service as an AH-1 Attack Helicopter Repairer (Door Gunner) with the 1st Cavalry. Happy Advent. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

PVT Joe B. Gibson was AH-1 Attack Helicopter mechanic serving with D Company, 227th Assault Helicopter Battalion. On April 7, 1970, PVT Gibson died in Binh Duong Province, RVN, of injuries received when struck by a propeller of a helicopter he was preparing to service.
