THE WALL OF FACES

The last Christmas gift, a pearl necklace and doll. I still have both. A few days later Christ called you home to be with him. I will never forget these memories. Some happy times and sad times. Miss you so much but I wouldn’t want you to see how our country is now. Things don’t look to bright right now. Love and miss you.

I think of you so often. This Veterans Day I played the song on U Tube. “He is more than a name on the wall” by the Statler Brothers. I often listen to it because it is so true. I also want to thank the person who left a picture of a candle burning and our flag behind it. It is beautiful and I was so happy that some still remember you.

I will always remember your birthday because our first born child’s birthday is today, the day before yours. Gone but not forgotten, the most wonderful Christian man I know and will always love. God called you home at the age of 25 in 1968. Your wife from many years ago,

You were only 25 years old when you left me and now 53 years later, you are still very deeply in my heart. I pray all the time that we will be together soon. I love you deeply in my heart and always will till we met again. The tears still flow at times. I miss you so much. Carolyn, your wife forever!

It is almost memorial day. Gone but never forgotten. You were so perfect in many ways. My memories of you, I really think I married an angel. We were a perfect couple and God was always first in our life together. I still think of and the wonderful life we had together.
