Final Mission of CAPT Paul S. Gee

CAPT Paul S. Gee was a member of the Marine Composite Squadron 1, Marine Air Group 11, 1st Marine Air Wing. On January 16, 1968, he was returning from a mission in a Skynight Electronic Surveillance Aircraft (EF-10B) near Da Nang, South Vietnam, when contact with the aircraft was lost. CAPT Gee and his crewmate, MAJ William D. Moreland, were within sight of Da Nang, barely over water when their plane went down. A search and rescue found an oil slick in the water but found no sign of life. MAJ Moreland and CAPT Gee were listed as Missing in Action/Body Not Recovered. [Taken from findagrave.com]

Touched

I am so touched by all of the words people have left for my uncle. I never got to meet him and every time someone talks about him. It makes me sad and it makes me wish more and more that I got to meet him,. Your words mean so much. Thank you everyone most of all thank you uncle Paul. You will forever be in the heart of your family.

Bracelet

I have had Capt. Paul Stuart Gee (1-16-68) MIA bracelet with me for many, many years. I have thought of him and his family often. I wear the bracelet on occasion, but am always afraid I will misplace the bracelet; it is that precious to me.
It is wonderful to see a picture of this very special man.
