OLd Friend

I was with you the day you got hit. I was given your company radio and was told to do as good as you did. What really scared me the most was after I got home I went to work for Dixie Mack in Montgomery. One day a truck was there for repair and the driver had the same name as you. I went to talk with him only to see you again. It was your twin brother. You never told me about him. Rest in peace. I hope to see you again some day.

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Carl Garrison,
Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. Your 52nd anniversary just passed, sad. Happy Veterans' Day. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
