Together at Last

Hi "Jack"

I remember the day we met in Sept 1950. I remember the day I reported to Lejeune and we had gone to Mass together. I remember 20 Jan 1967 when you and I gassed up our cars at Petersburg Va. I remember you and I laughing about the Marine Corps giving you a Valentine's Day present of an all expenses paid trip to Viet-Nam. I remember the day I learned of your sacrifice. Every year when I celebrate the Corps's Birthday, with a tear in my eye, I remember "Jack." I am proud that you have taken your place amoung the "Bravest of the Brave." I remember.

you are remembered...

my father has spoken of you many times, and i am saddened that he lost such a wonderful friend.

however, i am grateful for you and all the other men like you, brave and young, who put their lives on the line to serve our country.

your spirit lives in our hearts.
