Lance Corporal Jesse Eulojio Garcia was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor, with Combat Distinguishing Device (V), for his exemplary courage in action. He served as a Rifleman and was assigned to B Co, 1st Bn, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Div.
