Your nephew

Uncle Andy, this is Gabe. I am your nephew Fabian’s son and Thomasa’s grandson. I wish I could’ve met you! My grandmother used to tell stories about you to me and how you’d refer to my father as ‘White Turkey’ because he looked different than my aunts and uncles. I love you, you have inspired me! My father is a retired 1SG and I myself am an Infantry CPT in the Army as well. My father served in the Gulf War, and both he and I served on multiple deployments in the War on Terror. I was a rifle platoon leader in 1st CAV when I deployed to Iraq and I am proud to be a fellow 1st Team member as you. It is great to be able to write to you and I pray that God passes my message onto you; love and respect Tio!

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Andrew Garcia,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
