Thinking of you cuz

Sitting here watching nascar 600 and knowing if it wasn't for veterans like you and Dad's nephew, soldier Marty Maher, who gave it all for the USA we couldn't enjoy it.. I went to Washington to make sure you and Marty were on the wall: you are. Some reward for the job you've done, especially if you could see the good old USA now.
Pray for us Bill, this country needs Hero's like you NOW.

Miss you friend.

While I wasn’t able to join you and the other classmates in joining the Marines. I thought about you and the others often. After hearing of your death I felt compelled to volunteer to go to Nam to somehow honor you. As a security policeman in the Air Force I wasn’t sure what I would be in store for but knew whatever it was I would do the best I could. While on night perimeter guard duty I thought about our time together in high school, our hunting trips and working together at Summit hills Country Club. I know your in heaven because you spent your time in hell. RIP
