You were remembered at NYC Vietnam Veterans Recognition Day 3/25/23 . You are never forgotten my dear friend and Nam brother !

My dear SS Phillip & James best grade school and Bronx , NY buddy !
I’ll always remember the great fun we had together nor forget when you enlisted into the US Marines , nor hearing about your being wounded and months later dying from your service in Vietnam . I enlisted into the US Army shortly thereafter with my good friend John Ward , we trained and flew to Nam together served in the same combat infantry regiment of the 101st Airborne Div .
Unfortunately, he was killed during nighttime ambush ops 10/6/69 . God bless you and John . Rest in peace my dear friends and Nam brothers . Amen . Bill Nelson
