do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

A GREAT Water Polo player

Dennis, I played 3 years of Water Polo w/you, but you were quite a bit better than me. I also remember you as a cheerleader, as I played varsity football my senior year. I also served in Vietnam as a combat engineer with the Marines. You truly are a Hero, and I know you are in a great place. I thank you my friend for your service and sacrifice for this wonderful country of ours and may you rest.
