Thank You
Thank you Marvin for your courage in fighting for our country. Although I never knew you personally, I believe you died a hero just as the others who have posted do. You and your comrades are all heroes in my opinion, because anyone willing to make the kind of sacrifices you had to make is one. In class this year we have been learning about the hardships you had to endure along your journey, and your selflessness in what you went through was something that everyone in our country can admire.
God Bless

Do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
Mary Frye – 1932

Remembered Brother
I have found 3 of my brother's comrades, but I long to find even more. He was in the 1st Infantry,8th Battalion, 6th Artillery, B Battery and was killed in action on Dec 3, 1966. He was manning a 155 Howitzer when it exploded. If you have more information, please contact me. I have recently acquired his dog tag and I wear it with pride and sadness in honor of my big brother. He was very special and he gave his all. For us.
