My Uncle
It has been 52 years since we lost you Doug. I miss you dearly and wonder what you would be like now. I cherish the little bit of time that we had together. I was always so excited to see you when you came over when you were on leave. I want you to know that I am fortunate to have gotten all of your pictures that you took and have the letters that you wrote mom. I know that you are taking care of mom now that she is with you Doug. She so dearly missed you. You were so young. I have been in touch with your Vietnam buddy who was with you on that terrible night. Johnny Stevenson. He has told me stories about you and he dearly misses you. It’s nice of him to talk to me about you. Until we meet again Doug I just want to thank you for your service and take care of grandma and grandpa and Barb and mom. Love and miss you. Ricci Reynvaan

Thank You
Dear Cpl Douglas Foster,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. It is now fall, and as the seasons pass, it is important to remember you all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
