I just got off the phone with my oldest brother. He had such found remembrances of you. That is has prompt me to take find you on this wall.
He said how proud you where to be wanting to serve and a airborne ranger and he remember how he like your conversations over a few drinks. You have been gone for a long time, but not forgotten. Peace be with you.

Thank You

Dear Cpl Michael Fordi,
Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Medical Corpsman. Thank you for the lives you saved. It is now fall, and as the seasons pass, it is important to remember you all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

From Your Family

Michael, this is your closest Cousin Eddie's daughter..you were already in Heaven a year before I was born. My Dad thought about you, missed you and cried until he died so I feel like I knew you. Your Mom and Eddie are in Heaven too but to serve and die at such a young age I am keeping your memory alive. Nina is still alive and misses you always but I know my Dad and you are in Heaven. Much LH&R.

Remembering an American Hero

Dear CPL Michael Joseph Fordi, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for the ultimate sacrifice that you made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. And please know that men and women like you have stepped forward to defend our country yet again, showing the same love for country and their fellow Americans that you did- you would be proud.

With respect, and the best salute that a civilian can muster for you.

Curt Carter
