If I should die...remembrances for CDR. Randolph Wright FORD, USN...who died so we may remain free!!
If I should die, and leave you here awhile, be not like others, sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust, and weep...for MY sake, turn again to life, and smile...Nerving thy heart, and trembling hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine...Complete these dear, unfinished tasks of mine...and I, perchance, may therein comfort you.

I wore Cmdr Ford's MIA bracelet for years.
I feel such a close connection to Cmdr. Ford. I wore the bracelet with his name and date he became MIA, 24 hrs./day for so many years. Even though I know now that he died soon after he went missing I believe it was years before his status was changed.I prayed every day for him. My heart still aches for his family.
