Remembering An American Hero
Dear CDR Randolph Wright Ford, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

Thank you Cdr Ford!
I wore a bracelet for many years with your name on it and said many prayers for you. About 20 yrs ago I saw your name on the Viet Nam Memorial Wall in D.C. and I cried like a baby. I had spent years praying for your safe return. I am a Navy daughter and the proud mother of two Army Staff Sgt.'s that have served mutiple deployments and my patriotism is as great as ever. Thank you sir for defending our freedom and paying the ultimate price. Rest In Peace my hero!

Gone but not forgotten
I wore Randolph Ford's MIA bracelet for many years. Forty three years later, I still have his bracelet and pray for him and his family.
