Thank You
Dear Cpl Jackie Ford,
Thank you for our service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. It is now fall, and as the seasons pass, it is important to remember you all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Having lost my brother Richard Friend in Viet Nam in 1968 I know the pain your family and friends feels. If it's of any peace to them remember this.
Though you are gone you will never be forgotten! You and men
like you, are the reason we are free today! I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the sacrifices that you made! I hold you and those like you in the highest regard and you deserve nothing less! American's love you all, you were and always will be HEROES to me! I promise never to take for granted the freedoms I have, which you paid the ultimate price for!
Let no man be forgotten…I WILL REMEMBER YOU. God's Peace to you and your family. "REST IN PEACE HERO, REST IN PEACE".

Remembering An American Hero
Dear CPL Jackie Lewis Ford, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter
