For the Fallen by Laurance Binyon

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

honoring you...

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You were born exactly one year after me and died at 21 years of age. I am now 73 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

Mama Ronnie Rose/Richards

My momma, Ms Ronnie Richards/Rose/Now Cowan, was Kevins hoped for "Coming Home" gal & they most likely wouldve gotten hitched had he survived? Mom was pretty fond of him.
A month or so back , we spoke about Kevin & she shared a story about seeing Mr. Forcums Mother At the Totem restaurant in Everett. sometime after the funeral, and his ma had recognized her & asked if my mom would like his decorations. My mom was severely shocked being so young at the time & incredibly thankful, but it shows Kevin had spoken kindly to his mother about my mom & future plans....
~On a side note, back when I was a Sr. in HS in the early '90's-(Born 12-25-1974)-mom & I stop'd by Cyprus lawn on a whim. She was looking for a dusty distant relative & brought up Kevins grave being "around here somewhere". So she just randomly stopped the car, so we could wander about & take a look around. She step'd out the car, took a few steps & said: "OMGosh! -Here She Is!"
~I exited the car, took 2-6 steps, glanced around like a bored teenager, & WHOS grave was right @ my feet?!
-We were shocked to say the least. Thats called "Getting Universe'd"
Pretty spooky & synchronistic all in the same....

Be well, ~Creighton Lee Rose
