Mike is actually buried in the Jefferson City National Cemetery in Jefferson City, Missouri. I have visited his grave. I went to his school with Mike and last saw him when I returned from RVN and he was being drafted. Rest in peace my brother.

Dear PFC Michael Forck,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It is now fall, and as the seasons pass, it is important to remember you all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

You were one of the brave that answered the call. You honored us by your service and sacrifice. We now honor you each time we stand and sing the words “THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE”. Rest in Peace and Honor Michael.
