friend and neighbor
We lived next door to David. His parents Bruce and Jessie were
like grandparents to me. It was a very sad day when we learned of David's death. Both Bruce and Jessie took it very hard. I did not know David very well as I was a lot younger then him but his parents had a large part in my childhood and I will always remember and appreciate them being in my life. They were great people and had a great family. Mike Looby Atlanta, Ga. [email protected]

Rememberance of a neighbor & childhood freind
I did not know David real well. He and his family lived next door to my aunt and uncle (Richard & Murial Jones). They actually lived in Hampden, just south of Bangor. I do remember when we visited my cousins, David, who was 4 years older than me, would often come out and play with us. Because the town is so small even the loss of one son touched the town deeply and I have always remembered him. My family and I visited the Wall in D.C several times while I was stationed there with the Navy and it always had a strong affect on me especially finding and seeing David's name there.
