Another Memorial Day

We all know so well that we celebrate Memorial Day because of the ultimate sacrifice you gave James. I am the fortunate one to be able to celebrate your supreme sacrifice. I was on a Listening Post when you met you destiny that would forever be in my mind. I wish I could have saved you that night but it was not to be. Because of this site you will be remembered by everyone that ever knew you and by everyone like myself that speak of you when ever appropriate. It is surely so hard and painful to remember.

honoring you...

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Memorial Day 2022

Most say Happy Memorial Day and I think "Happy"? Well, there are a few things to be happy about. 1st I am very happy that I ever knew Jim, he was a good person and a good representative of our country. 2nd I am happy that we celebrate those that gave their all so that we all could live and live free. 3rd I am happy for this site which hopefully will be here for ever to memorialize those that have fallen during the Vietnam War. It is not what information about Jim that is beside his picture that is most important, but all those that have posted what was and is important to them about Jim. Thanks again Jim for being my friend for those few short months.
