I remember Charlie
Charlie and I were in the same graduating OCS class in 1969. He went on to Special Forces after OCS. He stopped by to see me at Fort Ord, CA on his way to Fort Lewis for deployment to Vietnam. Great guy!

To my friend’s brother
CPT Flott,
Your younger brother John and I were classmates at Our Lady of Lourdes and scouts in Troop 288. My family moved overseas in 1966 and I was never aware of John’s loss six years later. I note, though, that you wore the unit Flash of 10th Special Forces Group. So did I - later - in peacetime and only in a support branch. Still, you are a brother I never knew.
Thank you.
De Oppresso Liber.
