THANK YOU!!
Tio Arthur, so sorry you gave your life and died for us! I've always respected you and have honored you as a HERO, prior to me knowing you were. I always felt you were a hero for just serving during the time and just being there at such a young age.
Always will respect you and hope you're with my Daddy in heaven, as well as the rest of our family.
Love you,
Illiyana Chavon Flores Gibson

Thank You
Dear Cpl Arthur Flores,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering a brave man after 50 years
I was Platoon Leader, 2nd Platoon that day and remember watching 3rd Platoon pass through our line and head off the LZ to expand our small perimeter. They were hit almost immediately with a barrage of fire. When we were finally able to get down to help them, think it was Skeet Miller who who carried Tio back to the medic on the LZ at the top of the hill. These were very brave men and I miss them very much.
