do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will never truly die....
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.

As long as you are remembered you will never truly die....

Always in my heart
I was only 7 the summer you came and spent 2weeks with us before leaving for boot camp- I loved you dearly. I was so excited as a brownie our troop sent you and your buddies a care package for Christmas. I remember like it was yesterday when my dad came to pick us up from school and took us home, and mom told us that her baby brother was killed in Vietnam. We were all heartbroken and still are. I have kept your memory alive with my children, I love you so and am eternally greatful for your sacrifice. See you in heaven Uncle Bob!!!!!!
