James F. Fletcher He was a great MAN, a great friend who died doing what he was great at.
A corpsman, a friend who was totally devoted to his profession. He was always there when needed above and beyond what was called for. When we talked FLETCH wanted to know what Vietnam was like in great detal. We would talk for hours upon hours. FLETCH knew he would not come back ALIVE. I tried to change his thinking, but he knew. He died doing what he was an expert at. He was a great MAN and a BEST FRIEND, and is in my thoughts often. He will always be remembered as a MAN of men.
