DUAINE KARL FISHER

Butch, SP/4, Army



Butch was born November 19, 1945. His parents are Melvin K. and Marylee and he had one brother. He attended Central and liked all sports, especially swimming. He entered the Army November 10, 1965 and went to Vietnam in September 1966 where he was stationed at Pleikeu. He was killed on May 18, 1967. Butch was awarded the Silver Star, Purple Heart, Vietnamese Gallantry Cross, National Defense, Vietnam Campaign, and the Vietnam Service Medal. He was 21 years old and is remembered on Panel 20E, line 25.
