THE WALL OF FACES

Hello my name is Drew Bunting and I am this remembrance as part of the Gridley High School Posting Project. I would like to say that I find it to be a great tragedy that you had to give the ultimate sacrifice in defending a country and a people that were not your own.

My name is Jesse MacDonald, and as part of the Gridley High School posting project, I, a student of Gridley High School, in Gridley, Illinois, would like to take this time to thank you for your awesome courage and sacrifice. I do not know you nor anyone affiliated with you, but I owe my life to you. Words cannot express the pain I share with the entire nation due to your death. This country is not quite as wonderful without you, because you gave her your life to ensure that she would have to chance to survive. For this I thank you.

Thank you so much for the sacrifice that you made. By giving your life for your country you allowed for a better future for generations to come, including the youth of today’s nation.
