Samuel Asher
Sam was my neighbor and best friend in Oak Ridge while in school!
Many times I’ve tried to find “Sammy”. We were each only children, neighbors and school buddies! We met at the top
Of Outer drive to catch the school bus! My heart breaks for our loss but for his bravery! A blessed and wonderful best friend!

honoring you as the date of your death approaches
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will always be with us....
