I am student at Gridley high school. I am a senior and for my sociology class I am doing a posting project for the fallen soldiers of Vietnam. I would like to thank you for the ultimate sacrifice that you made for America and me. You showed great courage and heart for what you did for the American people. Thank you for everything that you did, your family should be proud.

Dear Mark,
Our school has started what it calls the Gridley High School Posting Project. This is where students from our school post remembrances for those who fought and died in the Vietnam War. I want to say thank you for all you did for our country and its people. You truly are a hero.

My name is Jake Foor, and I am doing a project that is part of the Gridley High School Posting Project. Thank you for doing what you did. It takes great courage and I greatly admire that. You have done a thing that not many people have the courage to do. I just wanted to say thanks and god bless.

Being a junior at Gridley High school, I can hardly imagine taking on all of the responsibilities and duties that were asked of the young men during the Vietnam War. This is a Gridley High School posting project. And as a student at Gridley, we were asked to post remembrances for our U.S. History class to those who have given their live for us.
