Thank You

Dear PFC William Farrell,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Another national holiday is coming, and we honor you this Labor Day. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Friend and Neighbor

Bill and I were neighbors and graduated from high school together. We were always at his house. I was friends with his sister Kathy. His twin sisters were always at our house playing with my sisters. His funeral was very hard for me. I'm not sure his dad ever got over his death. His grave is near my father-in-laws on Arsenal Island, Rock Island National Cemetery. Thank you for your service and you will never be forgotten.
