My great friend

We went to East Texas State University together and were lifeguards at the city pool. He was such a good person and close friend. I talked about him this Veterans Day at the University where I was the guest speaker - I hold him close every day. I do miss him.

Always Easy

We met my sophomore year at Grand Prairie High School in 1962. You were a senior and captain of the tennis team, I was just a newbie. You were Freddy then ~ a charismatic, good looking ladies' man with a quick smile and genuine easy manner and interest in everyone, and I always looked up to you as a mentor and role model. I'm 75 years old as of this writing, did two tours in Nam and just got back from D.C. and THE WALL via an Honor Flight, where I wept as I rubbed your name onto a piece of paper that will now occupy a place of honor in my home. Thanks for your friendship and good memories, Freddy...

Never forgotten Nam Brother

Tom, you will never be forgotten, and forever in my heart. Your smiling, soft spoken, kind, easy going demeanor will always be with me. It was an honor serving with you! My heart goes out to your wife, and daughter whom you never got the pleasure of holding. You were so proud of your daughter! God bless them both.
To this day tears come to my eyes when thinking of you, rest in peace my friend!!!
