Memories

Dear Allen: It has been many years since we shared boyhood activities and each and every one of them means the world to me. I have been to the Wall many times and each time I am there, it seems that those memories we share came rushing back to my mind. Thank you for your sacrifice and example. This great Nation needs many more like you.

Wishing I could have known you

Dear Allen, I am your cousin Rob from Idaho...
Thank you... Thank your for your bravery. As I look at your photo I wonder what your laugh was like. You have a great smile... I long to know your story, yet... in the end. All I know is you gave your life on behalf of our country. I have no words... Just silent respect... Hopefully someday we can meet? I was 10 when you were killed. I am now 61. Time flies.... Regards Rob

THANK YOU

Dear Sp5 Allen Faler,
Thank you for your service as a Field Artillery Radar Crewmember. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP5 Allen Lee Faler, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
