THE WALL OF FACES

Your assignment that day was to fly me to process out of country as my tour ended. You completed that mission, but as you flew that huey home, tragedy struck and you fell from this life. I have, nor will I ever forget, that you died for my freedom.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us….

Dear CWO Mark Eveland,
Thank you for your service as an Attack Helicopter Pilot with the 1st Cavalry. Your 49th anniversary just passed, sad. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Mark this is your cousin Lyndon who spent a week with you in 1954 and other times in the Washington State Park where uncle Wayne was a warden and he made us bows and arrows; we explored a lane and found wild yellow roses for your mother aunt Ida...
