do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will always be with us.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will always be with us.

No Accidents
My name was "SP4 Christopher "Lucy" Davis and I was an RTO with HHC 2/503rd 173rd ABN. I was the best friend of "Sgt. ASAP's" brother, SP4 John Kenneth Lynch while stationed at Ft. Bragg 1969 with 82nd ABN. I sat next to Michael on the plane going over for his 2nd tour and noticed a picture of "Johnny" in the photo album from R&R and almost freaked out. Micheal recommended I join the 173rd. Seven months later I found out he was KIA the day I was leaving Vietnam. Is there anyone in contact with his family?
