Served together in Viet Nam

John, we were in the same position on our first ever platoon ambush the night of February 13th, 1967. There was 22 of us and 8 were wounded with 4 passing of the 8.
There were 4 of us in our position, including you, Carl William Mueller, Grady Bowie and myself Carl McDonald. I was within a couple of feet of you when you were hit. We were all wounded with two that passed and two severely injured. I pray that your family has peace after all these years. God Bless You. Carl Mc

It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
