honoring you...
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Thank You
Dear Sp4 Enrique Enrico,
Thank you for your service as a Huey, Uh-1 Helicopter Repairer. We remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SP4 Enrique Thomas Enrico, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

Keeping you in my thoughts
This Memorial Day I remember Enrique (Ricky) Thomas Enrico, a childhood friend. We were pals, his Dad and my Dad were friends and we kind of consider ourselves cousins. I wear a bracelet bearing his name, in 1969, Ricky and his father came to visit us before he shipped out to Vietnam. We finally confessed that we were the culprits who when we were young kids, cost my Dad a lot of money. The story is too long to convey in this post, but we all had a good laugh over it. We spent the time getting reacquainted and made the usual plans of reconnecting when he got back from Nam. Ricky, just keeping you in my thoughts.
