To Ray
I didn't know Raymond Michael Enczi, but as a project in my Sophomore Contemporary Honors class, we had to reseach a soldier who died in Vietnam. One who wasn't a leader, but just a soldier who bravely served our country. We are doing this to remember those who may not be named in history books. I chose Ray for my project. Though I never knew him, I'm grateful to him for what he did for our country, and saddened by the loss of his life. Thank you, Raymond, we remember.

Thank You Soldier
As a fellow Buckeye, I say "THANK YOU"
As a Veteran, I say "JOB WELL DONE, SOLDIER"
As an American, "YOUR DEATH WAS NOT IN VAIN"
And as a Believer, "YOUR SPIRIT IS ALIVE--AND STRONG"
Although we never met personally, I want to thank you Raymond Michael Enczi, for your courageous and valiant service, faithful contribution, and most holy sacrifice, given to this great country of ours!
REST IN ETERNAL PEACE MY FRIEND

Friend
Ray-It's been a long journey for me since that day. I only knew you for a very short time, but long enough to remember that you were a man of principle and character. Reliving the mission was difficult, but necessary for closure. You made it possible. Thank you,my friend.

My Beloved Fiance
I was so proud of Ray when he went off to serve his country. I had a calendar at work and I marked off each day until he would be coming home. When he died, I thought my world had ended. He was a truly wonderful person and my first and only true love.
