To my Great Uncle

Your sister (my grandmother) passed down your bible dated May 14th, 1952. You wrote you name in it with a pencil in chicken scratch. Theres not a day that goes by that it is not in my hands. I wish I could have met you. You are a true patriot. Thank you for sacrificing your life for America. You will never be forgotten.

Thank You

Dear CPL Larry Elzinga,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Your 50th anniversary just passed, and it's still sad. We remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
