Thank You

Dear Col Robert Elliot,
Thank you for your service as a Tactical Fighter-Bomber Pilot (F-105 Thunderchief.) I am glad you were identified in 1999. Welcome home.
We remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

50 years - 2-14-2018. Many will be thinking of Col. Elliot

Terry - Just saw your post. As you may recall, your bracelet read 2-14-1968. I know, in a couple of weeks, I will be thinking of Col. Elliot, his family, and what wearing his bracelet has meant for me these past many decades. He has quite an amazing story. Very inspiring to learn more about his family. The journey of getting his remains home. Search "Vanessa Parks Boston Globe Col. Robert Elliot" for an excellent story.

Thank God he's at peace

I wore a POW bracelet for Col Elliot from 1969-1975. I have searched for any information for years. This was the first time Something actually came up. I'm so grateful to know that Co. Elliot is at peace at long last, and that I can honor him as the Hero that he was!

Elliot Family

I see that a note was left by Linda in 2014 about his POW bracelet. I, too, have (and am still wearing) his bracelet. Did you ever connect with Linda? I'd love to connect with her. We are, of course, coming up on the anniversary (2/14/1968) and I would love to connect with you and let you know the story of your father, his name on my bracelet, and the experience of wearing the bracelet for so many years. You can find me on FB if you want to message me. Andrea A Olsen in Seattle WA

To the Elliot family

I was in high school when Colonel Elliot went missing. We lived one block behind the family in Hampton Virginia. I remember all the children even though they were younger than I at the time. I've always wondered what it happened and had he ever been found. In that area we had many military families and many of my friends in school or off those families. None finer than the family of Colonel Elliot.
