Dear Sgt Steven Edwards,
Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Infantryman. We remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

On behalf of all the paratroopers who served with you in the 173rd Airborne Brigade (Separate) and all who followed, we offer our respect and remembrance of your ultimate sacrifice. May you never be forgotten and your family and friends take comfort in your valor in serving.

I served with Steve for 10 months. We were in the Field for all of those 10 months. We went through a many of fire fights together. We spent many of days and nights talking. He said he played football but never bragged about it I found out later after his death just how good he was. The only thing Steve ever bragged about was his family and to get back and tell all how much he loves them, especially his father. STILL HURTING 47years

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
