I chose your name from the CT map painted in our school which lists the soldiers from our state that lost their lives in Vietnam. As part of the Capt. Nathan Hale Middle School posting project, I would like to honor the sacrifice you made for our country.

My name is Justine James and I am involved in a Gridley High School Posting Project. When I think about the sacrifices you made for our country, I am in awe. You are such a blessing to this country and you have shown great commitment as you went to serve. Because of your courage, the people of this country are able to have freedoms that we may not of had otherwise. Thank you for all you did.

My name is Phoenix Marr and I am a senior in high school. My history teacher challenged all of his students to experience the Virtual Wall by writing remembrances for those soldiers who gave their lives during war. His goal is to have a remembrance written for everyone on the Virtual Wall. Although I did not know Austin personally, I know that he was very courageous and strong. He stood by this country through thick and thin. Your service is greatly appreciated! You will never be forgotten!
