(Citation Needed) - SYNOPSIS: Corporal Phillip John Eberhardt (ASN: 56456243), United States Army, was awarded the Silver Star (Posthumously) for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in connection with military operations against the enemy while serving as a Medical Aidman assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2d Battalion, 60th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division, in the Republic of Vietnam.
