Best big brother

I still remember your presence in my life. How safe and protected I felt when you were there. I have missed you everyday for 50 years and I still feel a empty place in my life that you were supposed to fill. You made me feel safe and sheltered when everything else in life made me afraid and vulnerable. Going on without you as a child was one of the hardest things I have ever faced. I can only hope that I have lived my life in a way that honors you and the sacrifice you made. Love you always. Your little sister.
