The “Friends of Rocky Versace” remember one of Rocky’s fellow alumni from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point - a brother Airborne-Ranger, Captain Donald Homer Dwiggins Jr., USMA class of 1967, on what would’ve been his 77th birthday - 28 July 2021.

Captain Donald Homer Dwiggins Jr., Served with Company A, 2nd Battalion, 34th Armor Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, United States Army Vietnam.

Dear Captain Donald Dwiggins,
Thank you for your service, and for graduating from West Point. Tomorrow is Independence Day, and we remember your sacrifice. We remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
