Larry was a great Marine

We served together in boot camp platoon 2074, San Diego, 1967. We racked in the same hootch. We fought to become U.S. Marines. Both from Chicago's Southside. We were the Honor Platoon. Broke my heart when I heard Larry died in combat. He wanted to become a Chicago Cop. He would have made a fine, noble, honest policeman. Rest in Peace, my friend, see you at sundown.
